We have seen the seasons change since we last saw you in Niseko, from snow to spring time flowers to sunny days, autumn leaves and the recent early snow. We thought with all this seasonal change we would bring you up to date with Nisade’s 2007 achievements and newest developments.

2007 has seen the largest interest so far in the Niseko region and with the new season upon us numerous buyers are following up earlier enquires and purchasing in time for the coming season.

Hilton Hotel takes up residence at the former Higashiyama Prince Hotel, this recent news confirmed the true international atmosphere of Niseko.

Niseko Promotion Board or NPB is underway with a number of prominent businesses across Niseko engaged. Our goal is to ensure that the Niseko region positions itself as a world leading snow destination in the areas of marketing, services and infrastructure.

Nisade as a Director on the board is proud to be involved in working to achieve this goal. Work undertaken to date has been focused on marketing Niseko and the Niseko tourism website is currently under construction. Nisade’s contribution to the Board is to ensure that your investment is supported by a strong community structure. Stay tuned for the next update.

Road heating The NPB along with the Kutchan council is also investigating heating the main road up to the Alpen Hotel and Ace quad chair as a first step to addressing icy roads. Whilst it's very early days, it is definitely a move in the right direction. Focusing on an environmentally friendly option, early proposals have included using onsen water, stay tuned for more updates.

Police station and Information in Niseko - this year Niseko intends to have a winter police station located next to Seico mart, it is also anticipated there will be a Niseko information staff member as well. The police station will open from November 20th. It is anticipated that it will feature bi-lingual assistance should you need it.

Financing your investment - Nisade met with ANZ Asia on the 2nd November to further discuss their lending parameters. It's great to see that foreign financial institutions are coming to Niseko.
